Hi All,

My son and I will be joining y'all at Freedom Fest so I thought it only proper to pop in and say Hi.

A few of the names and faces around the board are familiar ... Geez there are a lot of Spec. Ops in here ;).

Looking forward to trooping with you all - Should be an awesome time.

And anyone have a hankering for anything Canadian let me know as I'll happily drive it down.

Welcome to the boards Matt. Izzi's right, the bacon from Canada is better than anything you can buy around here. The last time I found good bacon I looked at the package and sure enough it said 'Canada' on the back. I'm looking forward to making your acquaintance Matt.

I was already bringing a "Canadian Carry-On" (a cooler), now I'll just fill 'er with bacon for the drive ...

"What's in the cooler, sir?"
"Bacon Officer ... cool refreshing bacon."
"Ok ... Bacon?"
"Canadian Bacon."
"OK ... And why do you have a cooler full of imported Canadian Bacon"
"Cause I'm going down to Utah to celebrate American Independence dressed as a storm trooper"
"Ok ..."

If for any reason I don't make it to Utah please assume that this conversation took place and let my wife know I'm in an institution somewhere between Salt Lake and the BC boarder.
