finally started my R2 I think i have had this kit for a couple years at least. Lots of sanding and prepping. hope to have it finished in the next couple weeks. C3PO is tired of being alone, so i gotta to get him a friend!! :D

Well, he's just about finished. I need to add lights to the dome. I had the hardest time painting him though. I'm not happy with the paint job at all. I tried all kinds of paint and nothing would stick to it. One of these years i'll have to sand it down and re do it. But a less than desirable paint job is better than no R2 at all. :D
