It's about time I start a build thread for my AM 2.0. I don't have the anticipated BBB picture since I received it over a year ago.
Last fall I went about putting my bucket together and has been since finished.

Within the last two months I have had the opportunity to attend 2 armor parties and I have to say they were all I expected and more.

So without further ramblings, here we go!!!

Armor = AM 2.0 - WIP
Helmet = AM 2.0 - complete
Gloves = Nomex - need to purchase
Boots = TK boots - complete
Belt = Kittle - need to purchase
Neck Seal = Darman - need to purchase
Holster = Darman - need to purchase
Blaster = HFX B grade - need to purchase

Within the last two armor parties I was able to get my forearms trimmed and fit as well as my biceps.

Added shims to the inside of the biceps (as per Reideemers suggestion) which work flawlessly.

Cut cover strips for the biceps at 15mm and still need to glue on

I will add more pictures of finished forearms and biceps.

I will repeat the same process on forearms sometime in the next few days, then it's onto trimming and fitting thighs and calves.

Progress is progress. Keep at it, and let me know if you need anything else!

Also, Shawn Gordon (Darth Maul) is THE guy for anything regarding armor. If you have concerns, he can be a great asset.

Little late on update, last weekend I trimmed the return edges on thighs and calves, also glue and finished right bicep completely.
Tonight I put second cover strip on right forearm so that will be complete when it dries and glued shims inside of left forearm and added 1 cover strip and cut thigh/calf front cover strips. Finally making some progress again!!!

I was going to start trimming/sizing the thighs down too, however I panicked and decided to double/triple check that the amount of material I am going to remove is correct. I marked 10MM from each side of the raised part on the tighs so it will total 20MM after I cut. Is this corrrect or do I need to leave a bit of meat on each side??

I'll have to dig up some of the build threads I used, but those measurements look correct. I ended up taking quite a bit off the front of the thighs.

Here's some good builds you can use to help you:

Once again delayed updates, however with a lot of help from Shawn G. and Reideemer here is where I’ve gotten to:
Torso has been fully assembled including attaching the belt and holster, my badass wife got me a hfx blaster for Xmas (best present ever). I still need to add buttons to the belt and the button plates to the ab plate.
Thighs have been majorly shimmed, going to apply abs paste and additional scrap to fill them in and sand and polish them shiny . Going to make a push to get this build wrapped up!

I should have some more of my vinyl buttons laying around somewhere to hook you up for the ab buttons...just let me dig them out of whatever sinkhole they fell into in my garrage...

If not I’ve got a pretty steady hand and also have paint!! You’ll eventually find them when you start packing for the great North, which saddens me greatly.
