Hey all, I'm quickly putting together a Reserve TIE Pilot costume. So far I've purchased the hat, gloves, and belt from Wampa. I'm waiting for the flight suits to come in and then I'll get one of those and have to take it in in a few places to fit properly. I plan on making my own comm pad later, but I still need to find a place to get some boots in a size 13.

Nice, Welcome to the Garrison.
I'm not sure where to find the parts for the pilots but we have plenty of members that do so hopefully they'll chime in so we can get you approved and out trooping in costume. Please feel free to come out before then though we can always use the help and its a good way to start getting to know more of the members.

Well I've had all the pieces I needed for about a month now and I finally got around to putting it all together. I decided to go with Ad Tec 1440 boots from Boot Barn. 13W is the largest they make but luckily they fit just about perfectly. I cut off the lower buckle and dirtied up the upper ones just a bit and they work great. I spent a few hours making my comm pad over the weekend making my costume about 90% Wampa Wear, 5% Boot Barn, and 5% custom fabrication.

I tried everything on yesterday and there doesn't seem to be any issues. I'll put it on again this afternoon and take some final pictures in front of a plain backdrop (or my garage door) and then then submit everything to the GMLs this evening!
